Sometime in the future... cross-pollinations between Plastic and Nature produce a 'synthetic' world where fantastic hybrid forms flourish.

Plastiniaria was created as part of a pop-up public art event SEE @ Manly Cove. I had 5 days to brainstorm an idea and make the work.
Plastiniaria is a macro–sized synthetic ‘anemone’ (made solely from found beach plastic) which floats around a pier suggesting a possible hybrid outcome of the ever increasing cross-pollination between nature and plastics.
